Feb 7; Wed, 2:00-8:00 pm: Open Studio Nights (in person at Davis Hall) 

Weekly Open Studio Nights at our studio in Davis Hall every Wednesday all afternoon! Fairbanks’ premier crafting get-together! Donations and food contributions welcome. NOTE! Closure of Davis Hall from Feb 14 to March 31 because of Ice Alaska. See below for alternative programming during this time.


Feb 23, Fri, 6-?? pm: FWSG Pop-Up Event 3 – Crafting at McCafferty’s

Please join us at McCafferty’s Coffee House, 408 Cushman Street.  Bring a small project and hope to see you there!

Feb 28; Wed, 6:30-8:00 pm: Board Meeting (ALTERNATIVE LOCATION TBD) 

Board members please attend and all others are welcome as usual. The February board meeting will be held in an alternative location during the Ice Alaska closure of Davis Hall.


Mar 30, Apr 6 & 7, 2024, Sat / Sun,  1:00-4:00 pm: New Weavers’ Workshop (at the Folk School, Pioneer Park – Cabin 66)

Have you ever wanted to try weaving a scarf, tea towel, or rug, and found the prospect of threading a loom, designing a project, and finishing all the work way too daunting? Never fear! The three-session New Weavers’ Workshop may be your answer. In this class, you’ll start weaving right away on a loom already threaded and ready to go. Four instructors from the Guild will be there to help you along. Class fee: $ 135 + materials fee based on project. Contact Bonni Brooks (bonontherun@gmail.com).
